First Aid Course Overview

 Course dates.                                                                                                                  

 Workplace First Aid - (Emergency Medic Course) $178.00 gst incl.

This  Workplace First Aid Course is designed to ensure that people acquire the skills needed to cope with workplace emergencies. This includes action priority, patient management, trauma and shock management, environmental emergencies, burns, and medical conditions. 

       1 or 2 day course - whats the difference? 

  Traditionally this had been done over 2 days. Releasing staff for 2 full days is increasingly difficult in our current economic climate, so DJS Training are offering the Full Workplace Course over just one day.  Whats the catch? Well  some pre-course work is to be done prior to the training day (approx 3 hours worth), then one training day running from 08.30 - 5.30

We are giving you the option of which course you would prefer, either 1day (intensive with pre-course work) or 2 days (more relaxed with no pre-course work). If you are coming to one of the public courses - see course dates, you can choose which course you would like to attend.  If you wish to make a private booking with a minimum group number of 6, we can discuss which is the best option for you.

Refresher - (Emergency Medic Update) $80.00 gst incl.

  -  A workplace refresher required every two years. Your certificate will have an expiry date of 2 years.  You are required to attend a refresher course no longer than 3 months past that expiry date.  If you exceed the 2 years and 3 month period, you will have to attend the full first aid course again to obtain a valid certificate.
                                                                                                          

 CPR Course -                  $40.00 gst incl.     Duration: 1.5 - 2 hrs 

 Lifesaver Parties -            $20.00 per person excluding the host who trains for free! 

                                         Home parties to learn the skills of CPR for children and babies.

                                          Duration 2 hrs 

                                          Minimum group number is only 6 people!

Group Booking?

Dates and venue can be arranged to suit you.

Larger groups (13-20 people) can benefit from our

$1800.00 + GST flat rate.

That means if you book a group of 20 people, you only pay for 12!
