DJS Training is an Independent Training Company run by Debbie Smith.

We offer education and training in both First Aid and Manual Handling to healthcare professionals and the general public.

Debbie Smith is a Registered Nurse with over 15 years experience of working in both the NHS (UK) and New Zealand.

Her background is Emergency Department, Care of the Elderly Nursing and Resuscitation Training

She is a New Zealand Resuscitation Council Level 2 Instructor and a "Roving Assessor " for CareerForce (CISSTO)

All courses are tailored to meet the requirements of the students. Certification is included.

All  First Aid training is in accordance with New Zealand Resuscitation Council guidelines, whilst Manual Handling training follows the OSH/ACC New Zealand Patient Handling Guidelines.

DJS Training was established in 2007, and is based in Whakatane, Bay of Plenty.
